Indicator Bulbs

Indicator Bulbs are an essential part of a vehicle's signalling system, helping to communicate turning intentions clearly to other road users. Commonly supplied as orange indicator bulbs, they provide the amber illumination required for safe and road-legal signalling across a wide range of vehicles. Designed for reliability and consistent performance, these bulbs are available in various fitments to suit both modern and classic vehicle lighting systems.

These bulbs are suitable for Front and rear indicator bulbs and are widely used as motorbike indicators. One of the most popular fitments is PY21W Bulbs, also available, featuring a single-contact pin design with offset locating pins at the base. Equivalent fitments include 581 Bulbs and BAU15s, which share similar installation characteristics and are commonly used in amber indicator applications.

Another widely used option is P21W Bulbs, along with equivalent references such as 382 Bulbs, P21W LED Bulbs, 1156 Bulbs, and 7506 Bulbs. These feature a single-contact pin configuration with an opposite-pin bayonet base design, making them suitable for a variety of signalling applications where reliable amber illumination is required.

Additional fitments include the wedge-style dual-filament 580 Bulbs, T20 Bulbs, and 7443 Bulbs, which are commonly used across a range of vehicle lighting systems. We also stock the single-filament wedge alternatives W21W Bulbs, 582 Bulbs, and 7440 Bulbs, providing further compatibility across different makes and models.

For North American and imported vehicle applications, 3157 Bulbs are another popular option. When supplied in amber, these are commonly referred to as 3157A, with the "A" denoting the amber lens colour. Another equivalent reference used within the industry is P27/7W, which is frequently associated with similar indicator bulb applications.

Our extensive range of indicator lighting products is available in both traditional and LED technologies, allowing motorists to choose the most suitable option for their vehicle. Whether replacing a failed bulb or upgrading to a brighter alternative, selecting the correct fitment ensures dependable signalling performance and continued road safety.
